Each board I make is individually hand shaped and tailored to suit your wave/boat and surf style for maximum fun for a truly fun maximizing experience. Riding a board that is uniquely yours also has a way of enriching the surf experience. My aim is to make boards (and skis) that are more art than equipment.
Stand out with a board like no other.
Every board tailored to your style. The artwork is inspired by the vintage use of resins and pigments of classic surfboards but blended with modern style, tools, and techniques. IMO when the construction materials can look this good without a graphic, then they should. Classic surf inspired technique and materials blended with a modern style and aesthetic. I focus on letting the beauty of the construction materials shine and avoid printed graphics, fonts, and stickers.
Boat conscious board design:
Wakesurf boards need to do a lot of things in a small package. Fit in boat tower board holders or storage lockers, excel at catching smaller waves, glide enough to not slip out the back, and tough enough to survive the abuse and bonks of a full boatload will ask of it.
I focus on shaping and glassing closed-cell EPS foam and prefer to use the less toxic Epoxy based fiberglassing. These materials are more demanding to work with but offer a durable, buoyant, repairable, wake surf friendly feel behind the boat. Don't let the fun stop at the lake. A handful of my shapes shapes work great behind the boat but are also perfect for the PNW summer beach break waves on the coast.
Wanna get experimental?
This is my favorite way to play in the shop. I've built dozens of highly experimental surf and ski shapes. Many have worked with amazingly fun results. Some don't pan out. Each one taught me lessons about what aspects, shapes, and materials translate into the foot feel on the water. Because I personally shape, glass, and finish each board (or ski) beginning to end there is a capped amount of custom skis and boards that I can produce.
